How to Reset 2FA on My Account

Updated over 4 months ago

If you need to reset your Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)—for example, when switching to a new phone—follow these steps:

🔄 If You Still Have Access to Your Old 2FA Device

  1. Log In to Your Account
Use your existing 2FA code to log in.

  2. Go to Settings
    Navigate to Settings.

  3. Disable Existing 2FA
Turn off your current 2FA setup (you’ll be asked to enter a verification code).

  4. Set Up 2FA on Your New Device

    • Download the Google Authenticator app on your new phone.

    • Follow the steps to enable 2FA and scan the new QR code.

    • Save the new backup code provided during setup.

🔄 If You No Longer Have Access to Your Old 2FA Device

  1. Log In to Your Account
    Enter your email and password.

  2. Go to Settings
    Click Disable 2FA.

  3. Email Verification
You will receive a One-Time Password (OTP) sent to your registered email address. Enter the OTP to confirm and disable the old 2FA.

  4. Set Up New 2FA
Once disabled, you can immediately set up 2FA again using your new device.
