Why Was My Payment Declined?

There are several possible reasons why your KryptoCard payment may have been declined. Below are the most common causes and how to resolve them:

1. Insufficient Balance

Ensure your KryptoCard has enough balance to cover the transaction amount, including any applicable fees.

2. Incorrect Card Details

Double-check that you entered the correct card number, expiration date, CVV, and billing address. Even a small error can cause the transaction to fail.

3. Unsupported Merchant or Category

Some KryptoCards are restricted to specific types of purchases or merchants. Make sure your card supports the transaction type (e.g., (Uber、Wawa、Exxon、RacetracC、Shell、Iberia, etc.).

4. Billing Address Mismatch

Some merchants require the billing address on file to match exactly. Make sure the address you enter during checkout matches the one linked to your KryptoCard.

5. Merchant Restrictions

Certain platforms or vendors may have regional or payment method restrictions. For example, they may not accept prepaid cards or cards issued outside specific countries.

6. Attempted Cryptocurrency Purchase

🚫 KryptoCards cannot be used to purchase cryptocurrency. Any such attempt will be automatically declined.

7. Security or Fraud Prevention Measures

If your card was flagged by our system or the merchant for suspicious activity, the transaction may be blocked for your protection. Contact support if you believe this was done in error.

Card Usage Notices

1. If the card issuer detects malicious activities such as bulk refunds, cancellations, failures, or chargebacks during card usage, the card will be automatically frozen, and a fee of 10 USD per occurrence will be deducted.
2. If the overall transaction failure rate exceeds 20%, the card will be automatically frozen.
3. If the card has insufficient balance and accumulates up to 3 consecutive authorization failures, the card will be automatically canceled.
4. If the card is frozen, please contact customer service to apply for unfreezing.
5. The card is valid for 3 years.
