If My Card Is Fraudulently Charged, What Should I Do?

KryptoCard takes your security seriously. To protect your funds and respond quickly to suspicious activity, follow these steps if you believe your card has been used fraudulently:

🔒 1. Immediately Freeze Your Card

To stop further unauthorized transactions:

  • Open the Kryptocard website

  • Go to All Cards > Freeze

⚠️ Important:
Before freezing your card, we recommend unbinding it from any active merchant platforms (e.g., streaming services or subscriptions). This prevents repeated declined attempts and avoids possible additional fees or card suspension.

📋 2. Verify Your Transaction History

Check your recent transactions to identify any charges you don’t recognize. Review the merchant name, transaction amount, and timestamp for accuracy.

🧾 3. Contact the Merchant for a Refund

If you find an unauthorized charge:

  • Use the merchant name listed in your transaction history

  • Visit the merchant’s website or support channel

  • Report the issue and request a refund directly
